Sure, happy to share! The digital degree wheel is still mounted to the engine so I can't show that right now, but here's how I made the TDC tool...
I bought a TDC tool from Amazon. It's got an internal thread of 3/8"-16 tpi...
Removed the "stock" screw and tacked it to an 8" length of 3/4" diameter DOM tubing. Nothing magical about this, it just happened to be in front of me at the hardware store. A schedule 40 steel pipe would have been cheaper...
On the other end, I tacked a washer and a 3/8" nut so I could snug the tool down. I drilled out the threads so the threaded rod could move freely...
Last is a 12" threaded rod with a slight chamfer at the piston end with a 3/8"-16 tpi nut welded on the other end. I had planned to use another 3/8" nut as a locknut, but I didn't need it. Plus, I forgot to buy one...
Overall, this contraption cost about $20. I could've made it for $15 if I was more frugal.
I'll post the degree wheel when I have a chance...
