I recall on a trip to san fran about 10 years ago seeing the same. Actually 1 station had premium for less than regular. Perhaps it's a CA thing? Spread is bigger around here.
For whatever it's worth, AI also shows about a $1 spread between reg and premium.
My issue with fuel is trying to find alcohol free gas for my boat and equipment.
