I’ve had a similar problem for a couple of years. I probably kill or vacuum up 10-20 yellow jackets a day July-Sept…actually many are already dead or moving very, very slowly…but for the life of me I can’t figure out where they are coming from. I only see them in one room and there is no attic above in that part of the house, no can lights, no openings in ceiling of any kind. Exterminators have looked all over and can’t figure it out. Very frustrating….good luck! I’m convinced I have a nest (growing by the year) but no idea where.
