So never got the Natty out again this year and have been working on a carport cover for it up on the helipad. Lots of work, lots of soreness especially during the concrete work that took a ton of time. Just put it in the new cover today and am glad I got ir done.

I fortified the 4 corner posts after finding the attachment was less than confidence inspiring due to the high winds up on the hill. The sides were not included in the kit so I got those elsewhere and installed them. It really stiffened it up by adding some significant shear strength in addition to keeping sideways rain and snow out. Did the grading and much of the rock distribution with the quad snow blade. Still a few punch list items yet to do, but nothing that will hurt my back...

Winterized it by pushing all the water out of the system replacing it with RV/Marine antifreeze, filled the fuel tank and put Stabil marine in the tank, and sprayed cylinder fog into the carb to coat them for the winter storage. As crazy as it sounds with filling the tank with today's crap fuel for storage many sources in my research stated that this effort will keep condensation from developing in the tank that will ultimately become water in the fuel system.
