Good PSA…Brakeclean has its place but it’s generally the last thing you should use to clean anything. IOW, if you can clean it with something else, do. And always start with the least aggressive product that you think will work and go stronger from there, as opposed to starting out with the nuclear option.
I do not mean this to pile on your misfortune, I’ve absolutely done similar things in the past but if this can save someone else, it wasn’t a total waste.
