I have never wanted any car to fail as much as I did this afternoon!

I decided to go for a neighborhood drive while datalogging and composite logging both going. Car started and behaved in a normal fashion and continued to do so and after a while my laptop gave a low battery warning, so even if it did lose power, I probably wasn’t going to capture the log- fail, fail, fail so I can get it logged... nope, it never appeared to go south, although, because I was cruising around the neighborhood on a cool day without wanting to run children over, my speed and RPMs stayed low and battery on laptop finally shut it down.

I may try again tomorrow with a fully charged laptop. In my defense, the laptop should have had an almost full charge, but maybe I shut the lid before it shut all the way off last time, so it continued to consume power.
