Thank you, LEAKY for the cliff notes. I haven't had my German I-4 long enough to change the oil. But I'm going to do it prematurely as IDT the oil in it would be all that good being a dealer sold used car with all the recent service. You know they didn't do the brake lines and I had to do the trans as it was just overdue. So I concluded that they likely used marginal oil.

I ran Motul in the Boxster. I like good oils. I should probably watch.
