I just did this myself. I ran a new power wire from existing wiring harness through the tunnel to the front. I believe it was a brown wire on the original harness and I grounded the fuel pump to a common ground for the headlights. Be sure to use rubber grommets when going through any sheet metal though.
Additionally if you're carb swapping you'll need to ground the pin on the relay board so the pump runs when you turn the key on. There is logic to run the pump for a few seconds with the fi brain that you will be bypassing without the fi in place. Figured that out after a bunch of troubleshooting.
