I had a root canal done in April. The previous one was done ten years ago. He had three assistants working with him on my tooth. The net result was that he said I had an internal crack in the tooth after he had done the root canal. Come back in three months. He cancelled that appointment. Meanwhile I have not heard from their office and has not billed me yet.

Perhaps their bookkeeping is not up to snuff or else he is not charging me coz the tooth is cracked.....
Anyone else have an issue getting an appointment scheduled with an oral surgeon?

I've had two attempted root canals from two different endodontists. In both cases, they stopped and said the tooth was cracked too far down and extraction was my only choice. Now I've got another one. I thought I lost a crown, turns out it was the tooth behind the one with the crown and a part had broken off. I had a lot of cavities as a kid and my dentist at the time really liked to hollow out the tooth and put in a big filling. Now they're failing.

So here I sit with a tooth with a piece missing and an exposed nerve. My dentist won't fill it, and the oral surgery department at the clinic is booking past the first of the year. I'm using the Walmart temporary filling stuff, but that only lasts 2-3 days at a time before something gets under it. I have to dig it out and replace it. Thinking of using JB Weld or something unless someone has a better suggestion.
