Trick or Treat?

I found a 2011 V6 for $5000.

Yes, it's a salvage title. Yes, it has 150,000 miles. It got hit in 2024. Light hit to the rear, messed up the bumper and the trunk lid, but the only damage to the body was around the trunk latch. Still, when it was already 13 years old and 150,000 miles, that totaled it. If it was newer when it was hit, it would still have a clean title.

A man in St. Paul MN bought it, and repaired it with his son. The son drove it for about a year, and I think he didn't want to drive a rwd car another Minnesota winter.

Whoever owned it before it was wrecked did some mods. Aftermarket headlights. The taillights are leds from a 2014. When the guy fixed the rear, he put a GT emblem on the trunk. It has huge swaybars on it. The shocks and springs are updated and the ride is very firm, but not jarring. There's BBK tube headers on it and loud mufflers. I've never understood people who add performance stuff to a V6. Why not just buy one with a V8? I really, really hope it doesn't have a tune on it. One of the reasons for buying this version of the car is the mpg on regular gas. Per the car's computer I got 31.6 mpg on the drive home.

Here's a pic. Part of me wants to find Bullitt style wheels for it. Whatever I settle on, I'm going to get a full size spare for our trip.
