Would you buy a car with a salvage title?
My daughter needs a new car. Unfortunately, she doesn’t take very good care of whatever car she has. The one she has now is on its last legs. I am seeing more and more cars with salvage titles. They all look pretty good in the pictures, but if I get one for her, she lives 350 miles from us and I won’t be there to fix any problems. It would have to go to a garage. I would only get liability insurance on the car. I’m mostly looking at Hondas and Toyotas as I figured that at least the engine should be OK. I’m trying to keep the price down around $10,000.What says the group?
