Im seeing recipes for using brake fluid but it seems even more dangerous and environmentally damaging than regular paint stripper. also may not work on some paints. in some cases acetone may help but also , very harsh fumes.
If Im repainting stuff Ill oten use it to clean and break the glaze. leave the original paint behind.
discussed painting my car with a bodyshop and he wanted to remove all the paint, says its to thick. I like it thick if it gets a chip it won't usually go through and rust ;-)
