After all the promotional work that went into getting this auction in front of lots of eyes, I was really disappointed by the vague descriptions and the apparent lack of any effort to separate out lots. Even when they do list a part you might want, you can bid on a set of gauges so long as you're okay with a $500 fee and getting stuck with a bucket full of unidentified transmission parts? It makes no sense (unless the goal is just to get everything out of there at any price).
This doesn't feel high end, it feels like bidding on storage lockers. I can't really understand who the buyer would be for most of these lots other than a local Porsche specialist shop that's willing to roll the dice and chance getting a load of useless stuff for a few diamonds in the rough.
