It is truly a 4 season car for me now (I live in SC, so winter is mild). I am upgrading the interior this winter for a little more luxury. With your mechanical skills the upgrades would be a piece of cake and well worth the cost.

Thanks Chuck! I have to imagine that fixing all the little things and getting the HVAC working would go a long way to improving the experience.

I also agree with chuck - get the Griffiths... I did 4 condenser (but I live in Sacramento)- maybe you can get away with less condenser area in MN - heated seats might be needed though (I grew up there - I remember how cold it gets!)
Thanks for continuing to update us all - its been fantastic watching from a distance!

Thank you! All great ideas.
I doubt this will ever be a four season car here, but a few years ago we had a few 60 degree days in January and I remember taking it out.

It took me a long time to find a carseat that fits but the Evenflo Sonus fits perfectly. Granted, I had to fabricate a three point harness but my son loves it back there.

Soon! She had many drives in my C4S while I had it. Front seat with the airbags turned off.
Amazing find on the Evenflow Sonus! Is your son front facing or rear facing right now?

Since the cat's out of the bag now, Garage Gruppe, which is where my auxiliary garage has been, is merging with Millrace, which is a brand new space in Minneapolis for all things car related.
It's primarily storage space for now but a lounge/hangout/coworking space is under construction and will be open around April next year
They had their opening/garage warming party yesterday afternoon. It was a great hang and the first time I've seen the truck since it was detailed like 2 months ago. It looks insanely good. Despite it not hitting reserve on it's BAT auction, I feel like it's worth every bit of the $25k I've been asking. I just don't use it nearly as much as I could and have felt like the space/money could be better served elsewhere.
And Megan and I got out on a breakfast date last week. It was 20 degrees this morning, I think the Avocado's days before it takes it's winter nap are numbered
