It's amazing that I saved the pic for two years without knowing anything more than it was a big ship! My soon-to-be wife had the camera in her purse, otherwise it would have never been time to take it. (can't stop on the bridge)
The camera was a cheap instamatic(?) with a throwaway cube flash. The type that had to be brought in to the store to get the pics.
Prob 5 years ago, I took a magnifying glass to it and still couldn't make out the name. ( other than the length of the white letters looked correct) But there was only one other sister ship that size on the great lakes, so I'll never know for absolute certainty.
The camera was like one of these....
