ok guys this in not oxy sensor or alternator stuf not even the valve adjustment.It is an internal knock ..could be serious since we have no info about the car.The knock could be rod bearings ,loose pressure plate even transmission..since it goes away with depressing clutch .we need more sounds investigation from the OP..everything else is is just wild guessing;-)
