That constitution was hardly progressive. It banned all alcohol except 3.2 and lesser percentage beer. And according to that constitution, 3.2 beer was non alcoholic.
When national prohibition was repealed, it did not apply to Oklahoma's prohibition. Now we finally have moved into the 21st century with liquor stores even open on Sunday! And wine and beer available at grocery stores.
