Ordered new 993 cross-arm window regulators, motors, and rails to retrofit into the SC. Picked up good condition used parts from DC Automotive for about the same cost as one (!) new OEM window regulator.
The 78-79 SC’s had the old no-longer-available parallel arm style, which is prone to flexing due to fewer mounting points on the door. We’ve attempted to straighten it out a few times but my windows just get slower + less even up/down as time progresses.
