Funny this should come up now.
We're in the process of replacing both of our Sony Bravia's. Mine a 52", my wife's a 46".

I will admit to being spoiled by my old set as it had a 240hz refresh rate and was a TOL back in 2009.
I noticed motion blur when looking at my son's new set that he recently upgraded to last time I was down to his house. Finding a replacement that satisfied me and my wife price wise wasn't easy.

I had a Bravia 7 MiniLED QLED 65" delivered last week, along with a new receiver since mine wouldn't pass 4k video thru it. I'm totally stoked on the picture I'm looking at now.

Today we're waiting for my wife's set to be delivered later this afternoon. I got her a 55" of the same make and model as my 65". I hope she likes it as much as I do mine.

My old set was way hotter running than this new one is. I think my heating bill will go up as it doesn't warm the living room up nearly as much now.
My wife is always complaining about being too hot in the family room so I'm not worried about her's not being as hot as the old one.

I remember our old old Sony 'cube' set. I think it was only a 32" Trinitron but it weighed close to 200 lbs easy. It went kaput when we had our glass doors replaced and all the dust from the stucco work got blown into it. Super windy that day of course, as well as hot, what did I expect in August?

I bought Sony again because of how well ours have performed over the last 18 years. My daughter had the Geek Squad come in and dial my old set in. I've been able to dial in my new one just fine so far.
