Tho I was never a Unix OS guy ... I was an "end user" ...
Unix was indeed the OS used when performance mattered.
Whether on servers or even on mainframes... my TCP stacks and other stuff ran under Unix (or a partition) .... under the primary MVS OS.
Windows, security, and great performance ... hmmm.
Mutually exclusive ... or just a pigly OS that pretends to be a contender?
