Driving distance depends if I am in a sports car or truck and trailer stuck in the right 2 lanes (most of the time)..
San Diego to Laguna Seca 7 or 8 hours about my limit.
Leave at 3 am, drive through Los Angles at 5am, arrive at the track at 11am.
Spend the afternoon unloading the race car, getting it teched and setting up the pit.
Return trip after racing all day Sunday eve depart Laguna Seca go through Los Angles at midnight just to get a 2 hour delay because a car carrier of Teslas are on fire on the freeway and the smoke is too toxic so the 5 freeway is closed both directions for an hour or so...
