Yea, again today here in OKC, I was putting together some of the parts of 8 new cameras built from scratch. The tiny parts and connections, and the way they work all are just cool to see go together. Some the wire connectors are a challenge to crimp the tiny parts on the wire, and insert into the gang connectors. Programming the servo motors, and the overall design is just really astonishing. I just help assemble the parts into the whole. The design of the electronics and the software is just another order of magnitude above my understanding.
The camera sensors are really cool, and made by companies that make sensors. They only produce a file that is a RAW Bayer pattern that has to be post processed to even look like an image.
I am just the entry level grunt right now. I hate working with glasses that magnify 3.5 times as is so much so small tedious work. Still it is fascinating.
