Two cats maximum! If they have more than that, they have moved on to the crazy cat lady.
Horses, well that depends on what and where the facilities they keep the horse housed. If it is on a nice ranch with lots of room for horses, OK. If they are renting a stall at some crappy place, be cautious.
And showing up in a nicely maintained Porsche should help your chances.
