That is out of my wheel house for sure.
But I do know this, depending on who done what , and if it is clear coated, some painters add some flake to the first coat of clear for a deeper look.
There are all kinds of tricks to most trades.
I will say, just aply the paint, and see what you get.
Its just paint.
We all learn from mistakes.
If you can, show an experienced painter your part and get some advice first.
