Took the clamps off and let it air dry. This afternoon I sanded it down and it looks a lot better. Next, I will scarf a piece for the missing section and then add a layer of a veneer on the front or back, maybe both.
Also, I had a new tire installed on my extra spare tire rim. I don’t think the 39 year-old original spare tire is up for work.
