I have several red fuel pump relays lying around here. Two have the part number 911 615 108 00 and three have the part number 911 615 108 01.
I'm hoping the CIS gurus here can help.
When was each one of the two relays used?

They're universal relays, no further functional distinction, same ampacity, pinout etc. Pretty much the same as the blackish ones. The only big difference is that the red ones have a flyback diode to protect attached electronics like the fuel pump relay on the CIS cars.
The index 00 & 01 has no meaning for customers, it's an internal index from Porsche indicating a different vendor or manufacturer. You can use the red ones anywhere in the car, the black ones only where they are allowed...
