JMU is right where I81 and I66 (from DC) intersect (Harrisonburg VA), very near the VA MD lines. You can see the stadium from the interstate.
This CFP setup is so screwed. Here is how I would fix it: Top 16, no byes, no group of 5, no automatic bids for conference champs, no independent consideration. The only argument would come from whether or not you are in top 16. The current 3 loss is better than 2 loss and other mental gymnastics is just crazy stupid.
Now you have 9 teams, yes TEAMS, that have opted out of bowl games: ND, Kansas State, Iowa State, Florida State, Auburn, UCF, Baylor, and Rutgers. I fully expect that list to grow. That cannot be sustained. I've even heard some non-bowl eligible teams are being courted for bowls and they are saying no.
Money and this CFP nonsense is breaking college football.
