I've got a 85 915 transaxle with a oil leak that I'm trying to track down. It only leaks when running, so it's above "the water line". It'll put a few drips on the garage floor after a drive and not another drop for a month. I've cleaned it and run it for 30 minutes. Sure enough, it leaking..... but from the speedometer sensor!! Ya, I know, that sensor sits in a blind cavity! Anyone ever heard of a crack in the spedo sensor mount??
