Okay. Went out to the shop this morning and knocked together another one of these. The sides and segments around the bucket are left over flooring I got last spring. The lumber is 5/4 decking I pulled out of the river, also last spring. The only outlay was a half pound of 1 1/4" deck screws. On a really cold night the horses' water will still freeze, but not until almost morning.
