I want to get it running so that it can be moved around easier, but will probably clean up the inside first so I can assess what the floors look like.
To clarify, I want to clean things first to see what I am working with exactly, then get it running. Someone posted that it had a nice patina so, I'm not all that concerned with how she looks right now. I think it would be cool as all get out to be able to drive the car around as it looks, old British car with a well used look, but needs to be safe. Safety first!!!
One thing that concerns me is that the clutch pedal is not moving at all but the shifter moves through the shift pattern. When we got it on the trailer, I shifted it into 1st gear but when we moved it off the trailer, I actually forgot it was supposedly in gear. I guess it really wasn't in gear because it rolled freely. Anyway, I will have to figure it all out as to why it wouldn't have stayed in gear.
