Triumphs are nice cars. I had a TR-6 for a short while and helped quite a few friends that had them. All the way from a full restoration to simple tune ups. Short of the rear suspension they're darned solid, just ensure that the rear suspension gets regular maintenance. Triumph always marketed itself as a bit up scale from the MG, the prices for the cars and parts reflect that to this day but they still give you a lot of bang for the buck.
