I went to my x wife's house to put up some ceiling lights. Electrician already did one for $150 and told her it would be double that to do any more.
Found out why. Cast steel boxes that only accept the center type of threaded pipe.
Now she wants a swag light and the wire has to go through the pipe so it can't be tightened up like this set up needs. Plus you need to counter twist the chain/wire so it sits right after threading it on.
Took me 3 hours of trying different things!
