One good thing I can say about this winter is it finally got buyers for my scraper blade off their butts. I've had this brand-new blade on Cl since July. There was no interest until last week, then I got 3 hits.
We had a wet snow, that melted and then the temperature dropped 30 degrees and it snowed. Naturally, that's the day a guy bought it and wanted it delivered - on the coldest day in 10 years. Ha! Not today buddy - it's below 0 out there. He wanted it badly enough to come and get it, but I helped him load it. The barn door was frozen to the ground, and it took half an hour to unfreeze it and get the tractor out. I had to get it out to clear the driveway anyway, so it wasn't a huge burden to help him, but couldn't he have looked at the weather report and come to get it
before we had to work in snow and ice?
