I installed the valve that can control the rate of flow. Get it started, at a slow rate, then line up the oil flow right on the hole, and open it up. It is simple to control the flow of the oil. No splashing at all.

When done, as a belts and suspenders move I use a metal zip tie to keep the valve closed. There is no way it can open up anyway, but I want to be overkill sure.
