As I understand it, there is a growing "die with zero" movement. So many of our generation were savers and the thinking that is typical is what can I leave for my heirs? I've had to work to get it through the head of my financial guy that my goal isn't to leave the biggest pile of dough for my kids/grandkids. I love them to death, but they are doing well and will at a minimum inherit my house. That is plenty.
