Several long lasting micro breweries have closed or are closing. I think some of this is market saturation and growing too fast or poor management. Many had opened brew pubs/restaurants and gone way beyond beer production. Rogue Ales may be the poster child for this.

The cost of everything is crazy. A simple sandwich at one of our favorite pubs is now $19.95. A pint, $8 bucks. A six pack of a typical craft ale is $11-$15 bucks.
My oldest daughter owns one of the longest lasting restaurants in our town. She is done. Food costs, labor issues, etc. have beaten her and her husband into submission. The place has been for sale for months now. No takers. They will shut down at the end of their lease.
