Thank you! I got the oil lines set today. It took me the whole day.

I removed the oil line brackets before the car went to paint bc they were very rusted. I thought about welding new ones on, but I ended up going with rivnuts in the shell. I feel like the Porsche gods might not like this one, but I did seal them up very well. The heater hose is close to the shell on the center hole, but there was still enough room. I have some 1/16 inch silicon rubber coming to replace the old rubber that was around the tubing at the clamp locations.

I rebuilt the thermostat and used new caps from Jim Tidwell. They are beautifully made. I wanted to put a new thermostat in even though mine tested okay, but they are out of stock everywhere...even eBay. Bummer. I’ll just stick with mine.

I ended up drawing up some fan brackets for the new oil cooler. I’m happy to share the files. They are 3D printed right now but the final ones will be laser cut from 2 mm aluminum. I needed to cut the fender support bracket in order to fit the fan. Guess I’ll need to find another place to mount the horns.

Lastly, the oil tank was sprayed with 2K black and 2K clear. With a new gasket in place it was very difficult to get the nuts started, as others have noted. I use a suggestion I found in another thread and inserted a deflated kids football. It actually took a good bit of pressure, but it worked like a charm.
