Stand out in a bad way, sure.
What designer puts two asymmetric convex curves against each other? Some kid in 7th grade detention/study hall I suppose.
The curves fight each other for attention and aren't helped by the, again, asymmetric convex/straight line pairing of the graceful door line and hard inner line of the intake. Your eye should focus on the beautiful flare and arc around the wheel. Instead you get a mess of mismatched lines creating an ugly styling cue.
