i have been working on my dog for years. he was reactive with other dogs. not in a good way.

all my friends have been so helpful. my people with calm non-reactive dogs have been volunteering their time and dogs to help. we go on group walks all the time. hikes, jogs. they come over to our house, we go to theirs.

my dog is getting better and better. i did a 5 mile uphill death march with Hank and the calmest GSD. to the untrained eye, Hank looked like a perfectly trained dog. stayed in the heel position right next to me.

just a year ago, i would have to hop off the trail and step far aside to let other dogs go by. now, i just keep walking. others have to take their dogs off trial to obscure their views with bushes..i know that drill well. hahah..

i have my dog goals set for 2026. the dog friendly beer garden. hahahha..
