It will always be impossible to quantify how many folks "save their lives"or "defend themselves" with a firearm. Or anything else for that matter.
Is there a threshold below which we cannot justify responsible citizens owning firearms? Does it need to be a certain number per year for some of you to say "yeah, that's enough, I guess it's ok to own guns"? Really?
How about, say, fire extinguishers in schools? If they do not show a minimum rate of usage, couldn't we just remove them and save a few bucks?
