We have a Savage Rascal kid sized single shot bolt action that my kids learned to shoot on, even though it’s tiny the thing is a tack driver with a great trigger. .22 is just fun!

I'm thrilled with the Taurus TX-22. Did a basic polish on the ramp when I got it (my standard practice w/any new spoon) and it happily eats up any -- any -- standard- or high-velocity ammo I feed it. Super reliable, comes with 1/2-28 adapter, and 16-round magazines. Can't recommend this highly enough.
