Carrier Bearing Replacement
I have a couple of questions for some tranny experts.
1. Would you be comfortable with replacing the differential carrier bearing BUT maintaining the old outer-race?
2. And if the outer race should be replaced, is there any other way to remove the old outer race OTHER than welding a ring on the inside face of the outer race?
I have a welder, and not afraid to use it. I am just looking for alternatives?
