Wall is straight - doesn’t need scribing. It’s the back corner where it was taped that’s problematic. And in this particular instance I have both a piece of cultured marble that’s an exact color match in hand, and the tools to cut it close by.
It’s actually easier to use that than go get wood and cut it to fit. I’m still in two minds though since this is a standalone cabinet and the top reflects that rather than being designed to be built in.
