Nope.
I joined for the track, ended up running and revamping the track program and then the local track closed, then started racing all over the place.
I’m not an ‘ice cream social’ sorta guy. The last straw was when I took my 76 930 to parade and the place was full of guys like this that sold their corvettes and bought GT4s… they thumbed their nose and my near perfect early turbo. One of them made a comment to my young son in the elevator that maybe one day, his dad, me, would be able to afford a Porsche… Not my crowd. We left early.
