Buy them, for 25 bucks. Getting old has something to do with it too, but my 20 year old complains aobut the bright lights that hurt his eyes too so it isn't just old age, young man! You will be shock how well they work at cutting out the blue light / glare. If you don't need regular glasses, get their smaller none wrap-arounds. I personally hate wrap arounds.
