I am still in mourning over losing Marchand to the Panthers but I am happy for him.
The Eastern Conference looks like bumper to bumper rush hour on the Long Island Expressway. It is so close that
almost any team can make the playoffs if they have a run of a 2 pt wins.
Today was an epic game for Boston. All kinds of records smashed
- playing an orginal 6 rival of 100 years: the much despised NY Rangers
- 10 - 2 final score (wanna guess who had the 10?

)
- the B's had TWO players get a hat trick AND both of them for the 1st time in their NHL career. (the last time that happened on any time was 2008-2009)
- the last time two Bruins players score a hatty in one game was 1964
- Pasta got 6 assists in one game - a new team record AND only the 2nd time he got more than 4 in one game and has never had more than 5 in one game until today (and he
always racks up a bunch of assists each year)
- what a great day to be a Bruins fan!
Now back to reality-the B's have a tough 2nd half of the season ahead of them with the odds of them making the playoffs not very pretty
