Nailed it out of the gate. Right rear cv connection failed. The axle was pulled out of the differential about an inch or 25mm. The mount prevents the axle form completely separating and flopping about. I drove it this way for over 50 miles and no odd sounds whatsoever.

The car did it for me.
And admittedly, I didn't check the rear closely enough. I just looked while under the middle of the car to see they were there.
After all, I never touched that. How could that be the problem?

Raised only the corner being tested. Each rear wheel would turn easily. Each front wheel resisted accordingly.
Ordering axles tonight.
