The $3.75 price is about what I paid at HD about 2 weeks ago for "premuim" 2x4's. They call them premium - I wouldn't agree - as I had to pick through about 20 to find 8 that were worthwhile. Then once I start going through them for my projects I find one with that has exposed bark on one corner for about half it's length.
That one will be going back.
