Wane is considered acceptable in
framing lumber. You can take it back and get your 4 bucks, but is it worth the gas and time? If you picked it, as your post suggests, isn't it on you?
I agree that seeking to buy lumber at a box store will yield
utility grade for the most part. Sure, they sell it cheaper than most yards, but is it really cheaper in the long run?
They get what they pay for and so do you.
