You can buy a disc caliper thingy that helps spread the pads a little during setup, its really just 2 feeler gauges bridged together to hold them to the rotor.

I might also suggest a mounting cup with a lanyard for your Varia light. I know one guy who lost his expensive radar because it fell off and he never knew until he got back to the car.
